PRP/PRF for hair

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) treatments for hair are advanced procedures that use your own blood to promote hair growth, improve hair quality and thickness, and reduce hair loss.
Most common areas for PRP/PRF hair treatments are:
Scalp
Moustache/Beard
Eyebrows
About the treatment
PRP/PRF treatments utilize growth factors and healing substances from platelets to stimulate hair follicles and promote healthy hair growth.
The procedure is exactly the same as the treatment for skin.
During a PRP/PRF treatment for hair, a small amount of your blood is taken, usually from your arm. The blood is centrifuged to separate the platelet-rich plasma or fibrin fractions, which contain a high concentration of growth factors and healing substances. This plasma or fibrin is then injected into the scalp or other desired area.

How does it work?
The growth factors found in PRP/PRF stimulate hair follicles and increase blood circulation in the scalp or other desired area, resulting in increased hair growth, improved hair thickness and quality, and reduced hair loss. The treatment can also help treat conditions such as baldness, hair loss, and alopecia.
Consultation: Before the treatment you will undergo a consultation with our qualified cosmetic nurse to evaluate the condition of your hair, discuss treatment goals and determine if PRP/PRF is suitable for you. The treatment is done with your own product and you can therefore be treated at once after the consultation and do not need to wait 48 hours before treatment.
Blood sampling: A small amount of blood is taken from your arm.
Plasma/fibrin separation: The blood is centrifuged to separate the platelet-rich plasma or fibrin fractions from the other blood components.
Treatment: The platelet-rich plasma or fibrin is injected into the scalp or other desired area.
Post-treatment: After the treatment, you may experience slight redness, swelling or discomfort, but these side effects usually disappear within a few days.
How many treatments should you have?
The duration of the effects of PRP/PRF hair treatments can vary from person to person and depends on several factors such as hair condition, treatment plan and your metabolism. Generally, our clients experience improvements in hair growth and quality within a few months of treatment, and results can last up to 6-12 months or longer with regular maintenance treatments.
During our consultation together, we develop an individual treatment plan that suits your needs and desires. By choosing us and our clinic, which is professional and has expertise in the field, you can be sure to achieve the best possible results and minimize the risk of any side effects.
